Thai Education Centre of Victoria Inc (TECV) เป็น โรงเรียนสอนภาษไทยในเมลเบิร์น ในรูปแบบ non profit organisation ในเมลเบิร์นที่ได้รับการสับสนุนจากสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ TECV จัดตั้งขึ้นในปี 2016 นำโดย Dr. Sopha Cole ด้วยจุดมุ่งหวังที่จะคอยช่วยเหลือชุมชนคนไทยผ่านการศึกษาภาษาไทยที่มีคุณภาพโดยทีมงานมืออาชีพภายในรัฐ Victoria ทางโรงเรียนมีหลักสูตรหลากหลายโปรแกรมอธิเช่น

สำหรับพ่อแม่ผู้ปกครองที่มีความประสงค์ให้ลูกเล็กได้รับการเรียนภาษาไทยไปพร้อมกับขนบธรรมเนียมวัฒนธรรมไทยไปพร้อมกัน ทางศูนย์จัดให้มีการเรียนการสอที่วัดไทย Box Hill สำหรับเด็กอายุ 4 – 16 ปี เป็นอีกหนึ่งโครงการ โรงเรียนสอนภาษไทยในเมลเบิร์น สำหรับเด็กเล็ก

Thai Education Centre of Victoria Incorporated

Thai Education Centre of Victoria Incorporated (TECV) is non-profit organisation supported by Royal Thai Embassy Australia and The Thai Ambassador and Thai Consulate of Melbourne. The centre providing quality Thai learning to the Australian and Thai Communities since 2016.

Objective

Thai Education Centre is a non-profit organisation to establish support for the Thai community as follows:

1. To continue the VCE Thai project in Victoria and in cooperation with other states
2. To support the Thai community and Thai non-profit organisations for Thai education
3. To build a strong network of Thai education through the Thai community in Victoria and other states
4. To provide the professional Thai training for any organisations that provide or promote Thai learning for children and adult
5. To build a strong network of Thai education through the Thai community in Victoria and other states in Australia
6. To provide professional training for the Thai community to help Thai people to establish themselves in Victoria
7. To provide professional training of Thai language and culture for adults through the Australian-Thai community and other communities in Victoria
8. To promote Thai language and culture and understanding of intercultural communication between the Thai community and other communities in Victoria

Current Project

1. The VCE Thai language project in Victoria to be continued
2. Youth Program for Thai community in Victoria
3. Establish Centre for children to learn Thai language and culture at Thai temples and the Thai community in Melbourne’s suburbs and extend to other towns such as Geelong and Ballarat, and help to setup child learning centres of Thai language and culture in other states if needed
4. Training Thai volunteer teachers for schools and temples in Victoria and other states if needed
5. Produce materials for teaching Thai for temples and Thai schools in Australia
6. Promote Thai and culture through Victoria states and others to learning about Thailand throughout our Thai education courses, either long term course or short course
7. Provide training to assist Thai people to settle down in Victoria such as by a short course to do the license, basic computer skills, basic English and preparation for work interview, prepare do the test for citizenship, and more
8. Teaching and training Thai language and culture for adults and any organisations and companies in Melbourne and Victoria
