รัฐบาลออสเตรเลีย จะมอบทุนการศึกษาจำนวน 50 ทุนให้กับนักศึกษาและผู้นำรุ่นใหม่ในภูมิภาคอาเซียน 👨‍🎓 ภายใต้โครงการ Australia Awards – ASEAN Scholarships เพื่อไปศึกษาต่อในระดับปริญญาโทที่ประเทศออสเตรเลีย ตั้งแต่ปี 2562 เป็นต้นไป

โครงการทุนนี้ เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการริเริ่มจากการประชุมสุดยอด อาเซียน – ออสเตรเลีย สมัยพิเศษ โดยจะเปิดโอกาสให้กับนักศึกษาเพื่อไปศึกษาต่อที่ประเทศออสเตรเลียในด้านต่างๆที่จะส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนสันติภาพ ความมั่งคั่ง และการพัฒนาสังคมในภูมิภาคอาเซียน

คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ กำลังเปิดรับนักศึกษาต่างชาติเพื่อชิงทุน Dean’s International postgraduate research scholarships เพื่อทำวิจัยระดับปริญญาเอก ทุนมีจำนวนจำกัด ครอบคลุมค่าเรียนเต็มจำนวนและมีเงินเดือนให้ ในห้วงระยะเวลา 3 ปี

ผู้สมัครต้องได้ GPA มากกว่า 85% หรือเกรดเฉลี่ยระดับ A รวมทั้งในสาขาวิชาที่จะทำวิจัยต้องมี GPA ระดับ 90% หรือเทียบเท่า ทุนมีมูลค่าครอบคลุมมูลค่าเต็มของ tuition feesบวกกับเงินค่าครองชีพเทียบเท่ากับ Australian Postgraduate Award ในอัตราต่อปี(APA stipend rates for 2016 are $26,288 for full-time students) โดยจะให้ในระยะเวลา 3 ปี หากสามารถทำผลงานได้ก้าวหน้าตามเกณฑ์ที่กำหนด อีกทั้งมีความเป็นไปได้ที่จะได้รับการต่ออายุทุนออกไปอีก 6 เดือน

สรุปคุณสมบัติของผู้สมัคร

-มีสถานะปัจจุบันเป็นผู้ลงทะเบียนเรียนในปีสุดท้ายของปริญญาตรีหลักสูตร 4 ปี ในสาขาวิทยาศาสตร์ หรือหลักสูตรที่เกี่ยวข้อง(เช่น a combined Bachelors/Honours/Masters degree) ในมหาวิทยาลัยต่างประเทศ(ยกเว้นมหาวิทยาลัยออสเตรเลีย) โดยปีสุดท้ายของการศึกษาต้องเป็นปริญญาที่มีองค์ประกอบของการทำวิจัย ที่คิดเป็นสัดส่วน 25% ของหลักสูตรทั้งปี

3. ทุนวิจัยการเกษตรที่ออสเตรเลีย

ACIAR and AusAID กำลังประกาศรับสมัครชิงทุน John Allwright fellowships เป็นทุนด้านเกษตรศาสตร์ ประจำปี 2018 โดยรับผู้สมัครจากชาติกำลังพัฒนาที่ระบุ(รวมทั้งไทย)ในการไปศึกษาเพื่อได้วุฒิระดับบัณฑิตศึกษาที่สถาบันอุดมศึกษาในประเทศออสเตรเลีย เปิดรับถึง 30 เมษายน 2018

ทุนการศึกษาออสเตรเลีย John Allwright Fellowships เป็นทุนการศึกษาที่ได้รับจาก Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research(ACIAR) และได้รับการสนับสนุนจาก Department of Foreign Affairs and Tradeกระทรวงการต่างประเทศและการค้า เป็นทุนที่มุ่งให้แก่นักวิทยาศาสตร์ของประเทศที่เกี่ยวข้องกับACIAR เพื่อทำโครงการวิจัย ฝึกอบรมระดับหลังปริญญาที่มหาวิทยาลัยในออสเตรเลีย

ผลประโยชน์ที่จะได้รับ

-Full tuition fees

-Return air travel—payment of a single return, economy class airfare to and from Australia, via the most direct route

-Establishment allowance—a once only payment of A$5,000 as a contribution towards accommodation expenses, text books, study materials

-Contribution to Living Expenses (CLE) is a fortnightly contribution to basic living expenses paid at a rate determined by the department. From 1 January 2013, CLE payable to Scholars studying under an Australia Awards John Allwright Fellowship is A$30,000 per year.

-Introductory Academic Program (IAP)—a compulsory 4-6 week program prior to the commencement of formal academic studies covering information on life and study in Australia

-Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of the award (for award holder only)—provided to cover the student’s basic medical costs (with the exception of pre-existing conditions)

-Pre-course English (PCE) fees—if deemed necessary PCE may be available for students for in-country and/or in-Australia training

-Supplementary Academic Support may be available to ensure a Scholar’s academic success or enhance their academic experience

-Fieldwork (for research students only)—may be available for eligible research students for up to two return economy class airfares for a Masters student or up to three for a PhD student, via the most direct route to their country of citizenship.

4.  ทุนเอนเดเวอร์ Endeavor Scholarship

ทุนเอนเดเวอร์ เป็นทุนของรัฐบาลประเทศออสเตรเลียที่มีการแข่งขันสูงในระดับนานาชาติ โดยคัดเลือกจากความสามารถของผู้สมัครอย่างแท้จริง โดยทุนนี้จะเปิดกว้างสำหรับทุกสาขาวิชา เป็นทุนที่ให้เปล่าและให้เต็มจำนวนสำหรับนักศึกษาต่างชาติรวมทั้งนักศึกษาชาวไทยด้วย

โครงการทุนเอนเดเวอร์เริ่มต้นขึ้นในปี 2550และปัจจุบันมีคนไทยได้รับทุนนี้เพื่อเดินทางไปศึกษา ทำวัจัย หรือพัฒนาความสามารถทางด้านวิชาชีพในประเทศออสเตรเลียทั้งสิ้น 195คน โดยในปีนี้นับเป็นปีที่ 10ที่นักศึกษาชาวไทยได้รับทุนอันทรงเกียรตินี้ และนักศึกษาผู้ได้รับทุนจะไปศึกษาต่อในหลากหลายสาขาวิชา อาทิ การบริหารการท่องเที่ยว แพทย์ศาสตร์ การแสดงดนตรี เทคโนโลยีและ ภาษาศาสตร์ กฎหมาย จุลชีววิทยา และการออกแบบผลิตภัณฑ์

ทุนเอนเดเวอร์แบ่งเป็น 4ประเภท ได้แก่ ทุนปริญญาโทและปริญญาเอก (Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarship) ทุนเพื่อการวิจัย (Endeavour Research Fellowship) ทุนอาชีวศึกษาและฝึกอบรม (Endeavour Vocational Education Training Scholarship) และทุนสำหรับศึกษาดูงานเพื่อการพัฒนาบุคลากร (Endeavour Executive Fellowship) โดยทุนเอนเดเวอร์จะเปิดรับสมัครในช่วงเดือนเมษายน – มิถุนายนของทุกปี

             ทุน Scholarship Description : The Southern Cross University is offering International Student Scholarships for 2018. These scholarships are available for offshore applications from citizens of countries in South Asia, Southeast Asia, and China. The scholarships are designed to recognize academic excellence, promote cultural diversity and to provide financial support to international students.

Scholarship Provider: Southern Cross University is an established Australian public university, with campuses at Lismore and Coffs Harbour in northern New South Wales, and at the southern end of the Gold Coast in Queensland.

Degree Level: Scholarships are available for students applying to study at Southern Cross University (SCU) Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth.

Available Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study the subjects offered by the university.

Scholarship benefits: Up to $2,800 off on first year’s tuition fees

Eligible Countries: Citizens of countries in South Asia, Southeast Asia, and China are eligible to apply.

About this scholarship

Description/Applicant information

 

A three year fully funded PhD scholarship is available for an outstanding candidate to conduct health services research that focuses on health systems and implementation science at the School of Public Health. The PhD will involve evaluation of  the implementation of current telehealth service provision across the Western Australia country Health Services. The PHD will involve evaluating the effectiveness of telehealth services across a number of key performance indicators (including quality, effectiveness and efficiency). The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a range of activities, including survey design, data collection, data analysis and dissemination.

 

The PhD candidate will work jointly across the School of Public Health and the WA Country Health Services. The PhD will be supervised by experts in health systems and health economics. The supervisory team will be led by Professor Suzanne Robinson and Associate Professor James Boyd

Eligibility criteria

The successful candidate will have:

– A Masters degree in a relevant discipline requiring the completion of a publicly available thesis or research project to an acceptable standard OR

– A Bachelors degree with first class honours OR

– Graduated with a bachelor degree (with first class or upper second honours) and completed a postgraduate diploma or its equivalent, or completed a master degree by coursework, with, in both cases, a course-weighted average of not less than 70 per cent within the University, and demonstrated the capacity to undertake significant research

Additionally, they should:

– Have strong numeric skills and an interest in quantitative research;

– Preferably have experience in research and/or the use of statistical packages; and

– Preferably have experience of publishing peer-reviewed research.

In addition, Fellows at both Duke and UNC can earn a graduate certificate in international peace and conflict resolution from the University of North Carolina.

The Department of Public Policy and Social Research offers master’s degrees in social sciences, natural sciences, and interdisciplinary studies.

Fellowship recipients may not study at a Rotary Peace Center in their home country, with the exception of candidates from Thailand, who may attend the center at Chulalongkorn University.

University of Bradford, Bradford, England (fact sheet)

The Department of Peace Studies at Bradford is the largest in the world and offers several master’s degrees.

University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia (fact sheet)

Fellows earn a master’s degree in international studies and peace and conflict studies in the Graduate Centre of Governance and International Affairs.

The Department of Peace and Conflict Research offers a master’s degree in social science. It is internationally renowned for its free and globally accessible collection of data related to conflict.

The professional development certificate is awarded to experienced professionals who complete the university’s intensive three-month program in peace and conflict prevention and resolution.

10. ทุน Australia Awards Scholarships

About Australia Awards Scholarships

Australia Awards Scholarships are long term development awards administered by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

They aim to contribute to the long term development needs of Australia’s partner countries in line with bilateral and regional agreements.

They provide opportunities for people from developing countries, particularly those countries located in the Indo-Pacific region, to undertake full time undergraduate or postgraduate study at participating Australian universities and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions.

The study and research opportunities provided by Australia Awards Scholarships develop skills and knowledge of individuals to drive change and contribute to the development outcomes of their own country.

Awards benefits

The Awards are offered for the minimum period necessary for the individual to complete the academic program specified by the Australian higher education institution, including any preparatory training. The following benefits generally apply:

  • Full tuition fees
  • Return air travel—payment of a single return, economy class airfare to and from Australia, via the most direct route
  • Establishment allowance—a once only payment of A$5,000 as a contribution towards accommodation expenses, text books, study materials

Award conditions

Applicants who want to accept an Australia Awards Scholarship will need to sign a contract with the Commonwealth of Australia declaring that they will comply with the conditions of the scholarship.

Awardees are required to leave Australia for a minimum of two years after completing their scholarship. Failure to do so will result in the awardee incurring a debt for the total accrued cost of their scholarship.

Supplementary programs

Allison Sudradjat Prize

The top Australia Award Scholarship recipients from Indonesia and PNG may also be eligible to receive an Allison Sudradjat Prize.

12.ทุน Research Training Program

For students:  The Research Training Program (RTP) scheme is administered by individual universities on behalf of the Department of Education and Training. Applications for RTP Scholarships need to be made directly to participating universities. Each university has its own application and selection process, please contact your chosen university directly to discuss how to apply for the RTP scheme.

Overview

The RTP provides block grants, on a calendar year basis, to higher education providers (HEPs) to support both domestic and overseas students undertaking Research Doctorate and Research Masters degrees, known as higher degrees by research (HDRs).

The objectives of the RTP scheme are to:

  • provide flexible funding arrangements to support the training of domestic students and overseas students undertaking HDRs at Australian HEPs
  • deliver graduates with the skills required to build careers in academia and other sectors of the labour market
  • support collaboration between HEPs and industry and other research end-users
  • support overseas students undertaking HDR studies at Australian HEPs.

Students can be offered RTP scholarships for one or more of the following:

  • tuition fees offset
  • stipend for general living costs
  • allowances related to the ancillary cost of research degrees.

RTP scholarships are available to domestic and overseas students enrolled in an accredited HDR course at an Australian HEP. RTP scholarships are available for a maximum period of two years for a research masters.

RTP scholarships are available for a research doctorate degree for a minimum of three years, up to a maximum of four years, at the discretion of the HEP.

Guidelines and conditions

Australian government funding is provided through annual block grants to eligible Australian HEPs in accordance with section 46-20 of the Higher Education Support Act 2003.

The Commonwealth Scholarships Guidelines (Research) 2017 provides the legislative basis for the provision of funding to this scheme and can be downloaded from the Australian Government Federal Register of Legislation.

The 2018 RTP grant amounts to participating providers is based on a formula that is reflective of their overall research performance.

RTP Stipend Rates

Each year, the range for RTP stipend rates for the following year will be announced by 1 October. The RTP stipend rate range is effective from 1 January. The table below details current and recent RTP stipend rates.

13. ทุน Australian Catholic University International Student Scholarship

About this scholarship

Australian Catholic University International Student Scholarships reward commencing undergraduate and postgraduate International students who have demonstrated outstanding academic merit in prior studies.

  • You must have an offer for a place in an undergraduate or postgraduate program at ACU
  • You must have achieved results of at least 80% (equivalent to a GPA of 5.8 on the ACU 7 point scale) in previous study completed within the last two years (undergraduate applicants) or four years (postgraduate applicants)
  • You must be applying for an ACU program that is an equal or higher level of study than the currently held qualifications
  • You must not be receiving any other scholarship or award if the total combined value would exceed the tuition fee for the course
  • You must not be attending ACU as a Study Abroad or Exchange student

Application process

Apply online by clicking the button below and completing the application form. You must attach the following documentation with your application:

  • Evidence of academic merit, showing achievement of an average of at least 80% (GPA 5.8 on the ACU 7 point scale) across your most recent program of study.

Academic records must include original language documents, translations (where applicable) and official explanation of grading system.

Selection criteria

Applications are assessed based on the strength of the following criteria:

  • Academic merit

The Selection Committee may give consideration to the diversity of the source countries of applicants and the courses in which they are enrolled (including across a spread of undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs and campuses).

Selection process

  • Recipients will be selected by selected by a Selection Committee consisting of the Executive Director, International, the Executive Dean of each Faculty (or nominee), the Associate Director, International Admissions and Student Relations and the Associate Director, International Marketing and Recruitment.
  • In considering applications, in addition to the eligibility and selection criteria, the Selection Committee may give consideration to the diversity of the source countries of applicants and the courses in which they are enrolled (including across a spread of undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs and campuses).

Ongoing requirements

Students must maintain an overall minimum GPA of 4.75 on the ACU 7 point scale for the duration of their course.

The Scholarship is not transferable to alternative courses or campuses post initial enrolment.

Students must pay required tuition fees by relevant due dates.

The Scholarship remains valid for students on an approved Leave of Absence for up to 12 months.

Successful applicants must also agree to act as student ambassadors for ACU and support promotional activities.

14. ทุน Strategic & Defence Studies Centre (SDSC)

T.B. Millar Scholarship

Overview

Each year the Strategic and Defence Studies Centre [SDSC] offers a limited number of T.B. Millar Scholarships each year to outstanding full-time scholars enrolled in one of the Master coursework programs offered by the Centre. These scholarships are named after Dr T. B. (Tom) Millar AO, the foundation head of SDSC, and a major figure in the development of strategic studies in Australia.

The T.B. Millar Scholarships are available for new applicants to the Centre’s Master Coursework programs who intend to study full-time. Applicants must meet the admission requirements of the Master Coursework programs offered by SDSC.

Benefits

The scholarship pays the tuition fee for the two core courses (or their equivalents) for a total of 24 units of coursework.

How to apply

When applying for a Master Coursework program offered by SDSC, eligible applicants for the T.B. Millar Scholarship should submit the following:

  • a cover letter indicating their interest in being considered for the scholarship and making the case for being granted one;
  • a copy of your academic transcript/s;
  • a current Curriculum Vitae;
  • two academic written references (or arrange to have these sent on your behalf to arrive by the closing date)

These documents, together with your application for the program (made through UAC or online for International Students), will be considered as the full application for the scholarship.
